Equal Opportunities and Individual Educational Needs: Example of a Consultative, Systems Based In‐Service Contribution

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

This article affirms the importance of aiming towards an equal consideration of the individual educational needs of all students. A report of an in‐service contribution illustrates this theoretical approach which tends to be inclusive and widely relevant to all teaching staff. However, for educational psychologists wishing to broaden their practice, there are obstacles in self‐perception, designated role, appropriate training and established ways of working.
