Abstract
This report has been prepared to advise Novus Health on gaps in their current evidence base and to assess the plausibility of their value propositions in relation to NHS reimbursement and commissioning pathways. It also provides headline figures from published sources that could support future business cases or funding proposals.
We begin by outlining the previously documented value propositions for Novus Health’s technology. We then review the relevant literature on the effectiveness of falls prevention strategies, the role of walking sticks in reducing fall risk, and the economic burden associated with falls. Finally, we assess the plausibility and potential impact of each value proposition within a structured framework, to support prioritisation of those with the strongest evidence and strategic promise.
