    Abstract

gamma-rays depopulating high-spin states in Yb-167 have been detected using the EUROGAM phase-1 array. A crossing which is possibly observed at a rotational frequency of (h) over bar omega similar or equal to 0.31 MeV in a h(11/2) quasi-neutron band is interpreted as being due to the alignment of a pair of i(13/2) neutrons.
