    Abstract

Excess molar enthalpies, densities, speeds of sound, and viscosities at the temperatures (283.15, 298.15, and 313.15) K have been measured for the binary mixture 2-methyltetrahydrofuran + 1-butanol. From the experimental data, excess molar volumes, excess isentropic compressibilities, excess speeds of sound, and viscosity deviations have been calculated. These excess properties and deviations have been fitted to Redlich-Kister equations. © 2006 American Chemical Society.
