    Abstract

The authors have designed and built a new beamline for the study of materials during processing where three synchrotron techniques; SAXS; WAXS and XAS are available simultaneously (MPW6.2). Rietveld refineable data can be collected from std. materials and from known reactions such as gypsum at high temp. on timescales of one 2nd per data set. The small and wide-angle data can be correlated with the measurements of many real phys. variables during processing. The station can accommodate a wide range of environments to simulate realistic conditions of synthesis. [on SciFinder(R)]
