    Abstract

This paper describes the development and adaptation of the Fibre M constant bulk texturing system for filament yarns as a dyeing system fpr polyester staple yarns. Originally the high-pressure steam input cause instant breakage of the staple yarns. However, by the introduction of a false-twist jet modest running times have been achieved.
