Abstract

With the promotion and application of modular smart substations by State Grid Corporation, the first clear requirements for DC system cascade fits in the new 18 countermeasures (2018 revised edition) and the upgrading of communication capabilities in substation construction in the text “State Grid Corporation Infrastructure Technology [2019] No. 51”, the DC power system feeder switch configuration has also changed. Moreover, with the implementation of the new version of fire protection standards for substations and the increasing emphasis on fire safety in substations, the selection as well as the laying of should also be studied in depth. Through the application of DC system configuration in the construction of a substation, reference advice is given on the configuration of DC system feeder switch and cable selection and laying in a 220kV modular substation.
