Fine structure in magnetization of individual fluxoid states

    Abstract

    Al disks were studied to demonstrate that a fixed number of fluxoids inside a mesoscopic superconductor can be found in a number of different configurations and not only one, preferential configuration was previously assumed. Good agreement was found between the experiment and the theory developed recently for the Al disks.
