Abstract
Provides an interim status on the use of the vortex method, using random walks and the vortex in cell technique, to predict postcritical flow around multiple cylinder. The Baldwin Lomax turbulence model is incorporated in the boundary layer regions and mean presssure distributions are compared for one cylinder and two cylinders in various orientations with wind tunnel experiments using trip wires. Certain effects are predicted reasonably while others are not.
