Abstract

Introduces the reader to the application of systematic approaches to nursing care, the nature of nursing interventions and the mechanisms by which such interventions can be selected and evaluated. Explores ways in which adult nurses can undertake a holistic nursing assessment, considering the requirement for making reasonable adjustments to care plans and identifies some the nursing skills needed in order to be able to provide high quality nursing care.
