Fuzzy ANP Approach for Selection of Group Health Insurance Plans

Abstract

A Fuzzy Analytic Network Process approach is used to assess criteria weights in the decision-making process of evaluating alternative group health insurance plans and select the most appropriate one. The proposed model tackles the uncertainty in the evaluation process, takes into account the dependences among decision criteria, derives crisp weights from fuzzy pairwise comparison matrices and ranks various alternatives, by aggregating judgments of a group of experts
