    Abstract

The behavior of polycryst. C60 was studied at ambient and high pressure using synchrotron x-ray angle and energy dispersive diffraction. The specimen has fcc. structure with stacking faults. The sample became amorphous at approx. 100 kbar, in contrast to previous expts. on higher quality material. [on SciFinder(R)]
