Abstract
The focus of the pilot is to research the encounters, cultural practices, and perceptions associated with Hollywood Park, Edgeley (Stockport).
The aims are twofold:
1) To contribute knowledge and insight for Stockport MDC into Hollywood Park’s current role and meaning, and ongoing potential as a community cultural and heritage asset for residents.
2) To integrate new models of practice and research into regeneration strategising and delivery.
The outcome is a series of recommendations to support the integration of Hollywood Park – and other related assets – into strategic investment and regeneration plans, to enable resident stewardship and use towards community resilience and cohesion.
