Abstract

This study employs institution-based view to examine the effect of political and legal institutional hazards in home country on firm internationalization. We argue that firm responses toward political and legal hazards are heterogenous, depending on boundary condition imposed by home country environment, government connections, firm’s managerial resources and human capital.
