Industry 4.0: a future possibility in centralised vibration-based condition monitoring (CVCM) of machines

Research output: Chapter in Book/Conference proceedingChapter

    Abstract

The concept of “Internet of Things (IoT)” of Industry 4.0 is gaining momentum in the plant maintenance. Machine learning approach using the IoT for the centralised vibration-based condition monitoring (CVCM) seems to be the future for the early detection of faults in any machines. The paper is discussing such a possibility based on the current research carried out.
