Interim Report WP2 Deliverable 2.3 "Most beneficial types and times of LV interconnections with LCTs"

Luis Gutierrez-Lagos, Luis(Nando) Ochoa

    Research output: Book/ReportCommissioned report

    Abstract

Deliverable 2.2 showed that LCTs (PV systems and EVs) mostly affect residential LV feeders with large number of customers (dense residential) and that permanent ring operation can increase the hosting capacity of PV systems and EVs in up to 10 and 30%, respectively (compared to radial operation). Deliverable 2.3 explores
the most beneficial times and types of ring operation between a dense residential feeder and a light residential or a commercial feeder by interconnecting only when voltage or congestion problems arise.
This deliverable is part of WP2 “Retrofit Design and Operation of Interconnected LV Networks”.
