Abstract
A 6000 word analytical essay framing the special 'Commitment' issue which I edited. The essay grapples with Raymond Williams' shifting ideas of commitment and introduces the four articles which I commissioned and edited for this special issue. The Introduction caught the eye of Verso books and was republished--with my permission--on their website in the summer of 2018
