Abstract
A programme of research is under way within the Department of Textiles at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) that seeks to identify the dimensions of creative success within the domain of fashion textiles. This paper begins with a review of creativity theories and ends by describing these theories within the context of a domain in which fashion textiles are developed.
