    Abstract

Into the deep: A deep-eutectic solvent based on choline chloride and one of several carboxylic acids can be used to prepare cobalt aluminophosphate analogues of zeolites. One of the new materials contains unusual ring-opened double-four-ring units, in which a cobalt atom forms a terminal Co-Cl bond (see picture; Co cyan, Al gray, P purple, O red, Cl green). © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
