Abstract
The overall rate coefficient for the reaction CH3O2 + NO → products was measured by using the turbulent flow technique with chemical ionization mass spectrometry (CIMS). The temperature dependence of the rate coefficient between 193 and 300 K was investigated. A model of the troposphere was used to assess the impact of the experimental error of the rate coefficients. It was found that the propogated error was very small, and was not a major cause of uncertainty in modeled concentrations.
