Abstract
This chapter explores how Greenpeace strategically uses knowledge production to claim legitimacy. The chapter raises concerns about the link between knowledge production and representation, and how this affects our evaluation of Greenpeace’s legitimacy claims in the context of democracy and its role as a global actor in world politics.
