Abstract
To examine and explore optimal methods of engagement between academia and industry when researching and developing an innovative technological solution for construction project health and safety. The paper aims to inform academic practice by referencing research findings against leading models of university-industry engagement, such as the Knowledge Integration Community (KIC) model of the Cambridge-MIT Institute.
