Multi-Story Water: Sited Performance in Urban River Communities

Research output: Book/ReportCommissioned report

Abstract

This fully illustrated report documents the activities and findings of an interdisciplinary, twin-site research project supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council during 2012-13, as part of its Care for the Future programme. Responding to a challenge presented by the Environment Agency,"Multi-Story Water" explored the potential uses of site-specific arts practice in developing community awareness of local rivers and potential fluvial flood risk. Comparable research was conducted in two urban case study areas -- one in Bristol and one in Bradford. This summary was prepared for the funders (AHRC) and primary stakeholder (EA).
