    Abstract

The structure of thermoreversible gels from syndiotactic poly(methyl methacrylate) has been investigated in two solvents: bromobenzene and toluene. The small-angle neutron scattering experiments can be interpreted by considering a fibrillar nanostructure in which the basic fibrils are double helices of the type put forward recently while the aggregation of three of them generates the junctions. In the wide q-range the neutron diffraction data can be theoretically reproduced by considering the same double-helical structure.
