Abstract
The synthesis of [NpVIO2Cl2(thf)] n offers the potential for more detailed exploration of neptunyl(vi) chemistry, while the synthesis of the mixed valence cluster complex [{Np VIO2Cl2}{NpVO2Cl(thf) 3}2] allows molecular neptunyl(v) 'cation-cation' interactions to be probed. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2009.
