New ways of working and new roles in primary care mental health.

This article will introduce ideas about ways of working with mental health users in primary care, which address the problems of high volume of common mental health problems in this clinical environment. We outline the epidemiological challenges and ways in whcih these might be addressed in the new mental health services of the 21st century.
