Abstract

The binding of Hoechst 33258 to the minor groove of the duplex formed by the self-complementary oligonucleotide d(CGCGAATTCGCG) has been shown by means of high-field 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to be across the central AATT region of the duplex.
