Observation of Z-boson production via weak boson fusion at ATLAS

    Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

    Abstract

A measurement of the electroweak production of dijets in association with a Z -boson was performed using ATLAS proton-proton collision data, with the background-only hypothesis rejected at greater than the 5 level. The electroweak signal includes the weak boson fusion process and this measurement acts as a benchmark for future studies of weak boson scattering and Higgs production via weak boson fusion. In these proceedings, a brief description of the analysis is presented
