Abstract

The development of monitoring equipment and analytical systems capable of detecting, localising & locating Partial Discharge in MV paper insulated cable systems on-line. This paper describes some recent progress including the use of matched filtering techniques for the detection and localisation of partial discharge and comparative results for on-line location mapping.
