    Abstract

Lee and Krutchkoff [Biometrics, 36, 1980, 531–536] introduced partially truncated distributions and derived their mean and variance with applications to a contaminant data set. Here, we derive the moments of partially truncated distributions of general order. We revisit the data application of Lee and Krutchkoff to show that the conclusion can be different for different orders.
