Abstract

This paper responds to Professor Morishima's defence of the interpretation of Ricardo advanced in his Ricardo's Economics (1989) and reiterated in his 'Morishima on Ricardo: two replies' (this journal, 1996). It is argued that key features of Morishima's interpretation are unsustainable.
