    Abstract

Light scattering for transparent particle, a particle with surface plasmon resonance and particle with negative refractive index was discussed. The fine structure of the field for a particle situated near the surface was also discussed. Different bending of the wavefronts and completely different casualics under the particles were observed. The results show that a particle with a negative refractive index produces a complex circular pattern in the near field region.
