title = "Ownership and Trust in Cyber-Foraged Displays",
abstract = "In this paper we investigate the willingness of public display owners to support cyber-foraging (appropriation) of displays by mobile users. Large digital displays are common in public and semi-public spaces and have the potential to provide a useful infrastructure for mobile users. Supporting display-foraging is not just a technical problem but will require support from viewers and display owners. We present the results of four studies exploring attitudes to display appropriation in order to understand the implications of supporting this type of cyber-foraging for future public displays.",
