Abstract

This paper presents the derivatton of a procedure for the parameter estimation of a neu Active PQ Equivalent of the external part of a power system, by using the set of standard measurements. It also gives the considerations of sensitivity of internal load flous to parameter variations of the equivalent. Then the proposed estimation and sensitivity algorithms are verified on the example of one power pool within a medium size interconnected power system. The results of these verifications fully justify the application of the procedure, particularly useful in the process of the steady-state security analysts of interconnected power systems in real-time system control.
