Abstract
This article introduces the Whitworth Park Community Archaeology and History Project, and outlines its main aims and objectives. It discusses the range of activities through which the project has examined the Victorian and Edwardian park, and its history of decline and regeneration. It outlines the main project partners and presents the initial results of the project.
