    Abstract

    Performatics follows 3 post graduate students as they use drama to re-enact experiences of mathematical learning.

    Performatics is a PhD film exploring mathematical identity through filmed drama. Drawing on the ethnofiction of Jean Rouch and Edgar Morin (Chronicle of a Summer) the actors explore their experiences with mathematics in a psycho/socio drama, learning about their experiences by looking out, to social stories about what it means to be mathematical.
