Phonon enhancement in electronic thermal expansion

    Abstract

    Recent calculations of the pressure dependence of superconducting transition temperatures permit calculation of the phonon-enhancement contribution to the Grüneisen function for electronic thermal expansion in the normal state. For lead the enhancement exceeds the total measured values.
