Abstract
Time perception of postmodernism is not Chronologic. Although Its eyes look back to the past, Postmodernism is together with today’s life routines. As the phenomenon nostalgy is remembered with affirmation and longing, it's sampled in pictures and television dominates Turkish popular music community in recent years. Especially the Turkish pop songs released in 1970’s draw more interest in today's world than their own age. Eventually, this interest has brought success in the dead fields of music. The very first examples of recording technology, phonograph record, gramophone, pickup, the radio programs and albums contain the songs of 1970’s and 1980’s are followed eagerly. As a matter of fact, besides the adults who have experienced those years, many of the followers are the youngsters who were born after those ages had passed.
