Abstract
The papers submitted to the Half-day IEE Colloquium on Lightning protection of wind turbines are presented. The issues considered include lightning activity in the UK, the effects of lightning on structures and establishing the level of risk, protection of wind turbine control systems from the induced effects of lightning, accident prevention.
