Abstract
This knitted textiles exhibition was curated by Belfry artistic director Nora Gaston and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Gaston,senior teaching fellow at Leeds University's school of design. Purls by the Sea included a month-long exhibition featuring knitted textiles created by artists from all over the country. Exhibitors included Dr Annie Shaw, Joanna Jack award-winning knitwear designer Samantha Brooke.
