    Abstract

Novel cationic water-soluble copolymers were synthesized by γ-irradiation copolymerization of vinyl ether of monoethanolamine and ethyleneglycol. The synthesis regularities have been studied. The reactivity ratios of the monomers were determined. The flocculating activity of the copolymers with respect to protein-containing colloid solutions has been shown. © 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd.
