    Abstract

Following the discovery of the new X-Ray transient MAXI J1305-704 (ATel #4024, #4030, #4034, #4035, #4044, #4060), we conducted a radio observation on 2012 April 19 (12:55-18:15 UT; MJD 56024.65) with the Australia Telescope Compact Array in the EW352 configuration (maximum baseline 4.4 km). We detect a faint radio source at the following location: RA(J2000) = 13h 06m 55.30s Dec(J2000) = -70d 27m 05.11s with statistical uncertainties of 0"05 in RA and 0"07 in Dec.
