Abstract

Muzaffargarh is one of the worst affected districts where more than 700,000 people have been displaced and hundreds of villages destroyed by floods in the Chenab and the Indus Rivers, and breaches in Tulhairy branch and Muzaffargarh canals. This rapid assessment study provides a snapshot of 16 Union Councils (UCs) in all four tehsils of Muzaffargarh District. Survey teams visited a total of 92 communities in two days time.
