Some physical factors influencing tactile perception with disposable non-sterile gloves

Some of the physical factors considered to influence tactile perception with disposable, non-sterile gloves have been investigated. While it is apparent that tactile perception is influenced by a number of factors, the results of the present work indicate an inverse relationship between dentists' assessments of tactile awareness and stiffness measurements of the glove material. © 1989.
