Abstract
Interaction between Stiles colour mechanisms π1, π4 and π5 is examined in the case of a certain discrete-stimulus apparent-movement effect. It is found that this effect is exhibited between different as well as the same π mechanisms, and, moreover, that is has the same temporal-frequency dependence in each case. © 1974.
