Abstract
2-Isoxazoline and 2-isoxazolin-5-one heterocycles are found in a wide range of biologically active molecules, as well as being important synthetic precursors. This review highlights the published methods that enable the enantioselective synthesis of these challenging heterocycles and discusses the future needs of the research area.
