Abstract
The idea of a Suffragette Judy is an evocative, challenging, amusing and intriguing one, employing the propaganda of the Votes for Women campaign to challenge fears and ideas of militancy and agency. This paper will explore Suffrage Punch and Judy shows and investigate the context in which they were performed.
