Abstract

How do people who have donated their egg or sperm to others talk to their own children about their donation? Using examples from our University of Manchester research, we explore how donors talk about the connections between their children and children born from their egg or sperm.

We also cover how children respond to the idea of having donor siblings and how their feelings change over time.
