    Abstract

Two conformers of n-butylbenzene (BB) in the S1 neutral excited state and D0 cationic ground state were investigated using supersonic free jet expansion and resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization (REMPI) and mass analyzed threshold ionization (MATI) spectroscopy. The obtained spectra were detailed in the context of the conformer specific ionization-induced geometry changes.
