    Abstract

In this work we studied structural, magnetic, optical and some other proprieties of fullerides C 60(FeCp 2) 2, C 60 (NiCp 2) 2 and their derivatives. The influence of fulleride particles on the cell proliferative activity was also investigated. We found that the proliferative activity of the RINmF5 cells increases (53% vs. control) in the presence of C 60 (FeCp 2) 2 nano-size particles. Moreover it was registered that the cell culture becomes multi-layered and secreted basophile matrix. We also present the results of quantum chemical studies of C60(FeCp2) 2 complex. It was shown in particular that the spin density is localized on the atoms C belonging to the fullerene molecule.
